Acquiring Language Skills and an International Mindedness
The mission of our faculty is to train future-oriented professionals who possess strong communication and problem-solving skills; a wide variety of knowledge in the field of international relations; a deep understanding of values; and the ability to cooperate with people from different regions around the world. All first-year students are required to join a study-abroad program because we believe that it is necessary for them to experience living abroad and have direct contact with a foreign culture, not only to improve their language skills, but also to broaden their horizons and cultivate their international mindedness.
The greatest merit of implementing this program in the second semester of the first year is that students can apply the experience gained abroad and their newly-improved skills to deepen their studies in a specialized field upon returning. Thus, students can begin building a career path to follow after graduation.
Students who complete their studies through our faculty develop all the attributes they need to make themselves competitive and attractive to employers in a globalized workforce.
